A central focus was the development of transnational and interdisciplinary courses that bring together lecturers from different countries and offer students opportunities to learn in an international environment. The meeting presented courses involving the Academy in cultural heritage management, marketing, branding and gamification, alongside opportunities for new proposals and partnerships. Particular attention was given to joint master’s programs. The alliance aims to initiate five such programs by 2028 by combining existing provision or developing new programs. Academic staff can contribute by designing shared curricula and modules, undertaking joint teaching and building international academic teams. The meeting also introduced “Sciences for Eco-Cultural Heritage”, with student admissions and teaching subject to the necessary approval and accreditation procedures.

Other topics included joint doctoral training, international co-supervision of theses and dissertations, career development and internship opportunities, and training in digital education and artificial intelligence. The meeting also highlighted opportunities for academic mobility and participation in research networks, conferences, summer schools and hackathons.

Within the alliance’s wider activities, the meeting presented the Academy’s leading role in developing the H&ART Incubator, which connects universities with businesses, cultural organizations, artists and local communities. Together, these activities support the development of KreativEU as a shared European university environment offering broader access to learning, shared resources and lasting international partnerships. Academic staff were encouraged to put forward ideas for courses, teaching modules and joint initiatives that will contribute to the alliance’s development and expand opportunities for the Academy’s students.
