Students from D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics Participated in an International Scientific Forum in Bucharest

On May 28, 2025, the 9th edition of the international student symposium "Experience. Knowledge. Contemporary Challenges" was held in Bucharest. The event was organized by Artifex University of Bucharest with the support of D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics. This year’s theme of the scientific forum was “Dashboard of the Future – Reconfiguration of the Doctrines between Durability and Sustainability: Innovation, Opportunities, Risks”, focusing on the future of sustainable development, innovation, and the balance between durability and sustainability in the economy.

The forum, held in a hybrid format, was opened and moderated by Prof. Alexandru-Lucian Manole. It brought together numerous young researchers from Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, and India. D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics was represented by the following students:

  • Tsveta Sirashka (1st year, Project Management), with a paper titled "Sustainable Development Project Management A Catalyst for Smart Transformation of Cities";
  • Yordan Shopov (1st year, Public Administration) and Ralitsa Alexandrova (3rd year, Public Administration), with a study on "Urban Mobility and Sustainable Transport in the Era of Smart Cities";
  • Lyubomir Lyubomirov and Dimitar Mitev (4th year, Finance), with a research project titled "Forecasting Financial Markets with KWIC Analysis and Foresight Models";
  • Ivaylo Vasilev (1st year, Insurance and Social Work), who presented a research paper entitled "Sustainable Transformation in Bulgaria's Insurance Sector".

Boris Yordanov, a second-year student in Accounting and Control, also participated in the discussions.


The symposium provided students from various countries with the opportunity to present their research, build connections, and exchange ideas. Through their participation, the students from Svishtov once again reaffirmed the commitment of D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics to fostering student research and international cooperation.
