D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics started implementing the Erasmus programme (LLP) in 2007. Since 2014 the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics has received a full charter for the new Erasmus+ programme for the period 2021-2027 which allows students and staff to take part in exchange programme for short or long periods. Each semester the Erasmus+ office organises admissions for students and staff (academic and administrative) who would like to carry out an outgoing Erasmus+ mobility. D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics has been actively participating in Erasmus+, Key Action 107 for Credit mobility between Programme and Partner Countries since 2015. Students can apply for Erasmus+ mobility for studies and traineeships at their home institution and receive a grant for their period at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics. The staff is eligible for short-term mobility for teaching or training. Basic condition that has to be satisfied is that the home institution and the D. A. Tsenov Academy must have a signed Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement prior to the mobility. The Erasmus+ Office is responsible for the selection of candidates for incoming and outgoing mobility. It announces its decision within 3 weeks after the selection.
