H&ART Incubator Officially Launched: First Cohort of Incubatees Admitted
On 30 June 2026, the H&ART Incubator reached a major milestone in its development as the H&ART Incubator Transnational Managing Board officially admitted the first cohort of incubatees, marking the formal launch of the Incubator's operations across the KreativEU Alliance.
The ceremonial meeting brought together the eleven members of the H&ART Incubator Transnational Managing Board, who reaffirmed their shared commitment to building a vibrant European ecosystem for art, cultural heritage, and the cultural and creative industries.
The spirit of the event was captured in the opening statement:
“Today, we are not launching a project activity. We are launching a European ecosystem designed to support artists, creators, students, entrepreneurs and innovators in cultural heritage and the cultural and creative industries.”
As a symbolic act marking the launch of the Incubator, all members of the H&ART Incubator Transnational Managing Board participated in a digital signature ceremony by writing “I support the launch of the H&ART Incubator” in the chat of the virtual meeting room. This collective gesture reflected the shared vision and commitment of the KreativEU partners to the future development of the Incubator.
The admission of the first incubatees represents a significant step in the implementation of one of the flagship achievements of the KreativEU Alliance. The H&ART Incubator has been established to support students, artists, creators, start-ups, researchers, and innovators developing ideas and projects in the fields of art, cultural heritage, and the cultural and creative industries.

At the moment of its launch, the H&ART Incubator brings together a network of 57 mentors and 15 incubatees, who are at different stages of developing their projects and entrepreneurial initiatives. Through mentoring, training, mobility opportunities, networking activities, artistic residencies, and access to a growing international ecosystem, the Incubator aims to transform promising ideas into impactful and sustainable projects.
The launch of the H&ART Incubator marks the beginning of a new chapter for the KreativEU Alliance and reinforces its commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal impact through culture and heritage across Europe.
