Department of Strategic Planning and MeWe Institute (Florence) in collaboration for innovative research

The Department of Strategic Planning at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics - Svishtov reports an extremely fruitful working meeting in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The meeting was held with representatives of the Italian organization MeWe Institute for Innovative Research - a modern research institute combining traditional methods with innovative tools and methodologies for researching opinions and consumption in the age of the Internet and social media.

The event proved to be a natural continuation of the recently signed partnership agreement between the two countries, which lays the foundations for active cooperation in the fields of scientific research, education and social innovation

The Svishtov Academy was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihail Chipriyanov, Head of the Department of Strategic Planning, Senior Asst. Prof. Dr. Nadezhda Veselinova, Scientific Secretary of the Department, and Senior Asst. Prof. Dr. Yulian Gospodinov, Erasmus Coordinator. On the side of the hosts, with a special commitment, was the Executive Director of MeWe, Mr. Samuele Mori.
The main focus of the workshop was on the specifics and methodology of applied/empirical research for both the corporate and public sectors. Valuable aspects of MeWe's know-how were shared, related to the speed of data collection, the expansion and integration of sources, as well as the construction of an innovative and dynamic interpretive structure in research

It is expected that the useful questions and experiences exchanged will significantly contribute to enhancing the research potential of the department and will be of great benefit to the future work of the doctoral students at the department. In addition, the meeting generated promising new ideas for future joint projects and cooperation initiatives between the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics and MeWe Institute for Innovative Research.
The meeting in Florence solidified the strategic partnership and outlined the path for future joint activities aimed at implementing innovative approaches in social and market research.
