An event-discussion on the topic "Bulgarian Breakfast with the Department of Strategic Planning" is held at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics

On March 15, 2023, the Department of Strategic Planning organized an event-discussion on the topic "Bulgarian breakfast with the Department of Strategic Planning" with foreign students, implementing mobility at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics Svishtov under the Erasmus+ program and studying in disciplines led by professors from the department.

The department offers a wide educational portfolio in the professional fields of Economics, Administration, and Management, and it is pleased to welcome many international students each year who have chosen to study at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics.

During the event, each of the participants gave a presentation about the country they come from and shared more information about the university where they study. This year's discussion event featured presentations on Bulgaria, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam, which provoked lively discussions about what is common and what is different between the countries.

A traditional Bulgarian breakfast was prepared for those in attendance, along with interesting facts and information about the ingredients of the various dishes. On the table were presented two types of Salty Cheese Pies (Banitsa), Salty Fried Dough (Mekitsi), Sweet Pumpkin Pie with Walnuts (Tikvenik), Easter Bread Roll with Chocolate (Kozunak roll), as well as small sweets – Butter cookie with Meringue (Maslenki) and Peaches Cookies (Praskovki). Among the drinks, boza and ayrian were selected.

The participants of the event expressed their gratitude and shared the opinion that it should become a tradition as it is a good opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better.
The team of the Department of Strategic Planning set itself the goal of regularly organizing such events and discussions, which would create conditions for deepening integration and communication with the newly arrived Erasmus+ mobility students and establishing long-lasting friendships and partnerships.
