The team of the research project №1-2022 ‘Sustainable and inclusive growth - the European perspective’ invites teachers, PhD students, students, researchers and practitioners to participate in a webinar to discuss the problems of the sustainable growth. With the current dynamics of economic cycles in the socio-political development of modern economies, contradictions and conflicts appear, laid down by the actual spontaneous market self-regulation. Rapid economic growth does not always correspond to the rates of change in social norms and rules, as well as to the mechanisms regulating the ‘production – environment’ interaction, which requires managerial intervention to regulate and coordinate all levels within individual economic systems and subsystems. The main goal of the project is to outline the essence and specifics of the modern policy for achieving sustainable growth, with which the European Union and Bulgaria, as part of it, strive to reduce social inequality and improve the well-being of society as a whole.
