30th Student Conference by Department of International Economic Relations

Department of International Economic Relations at Dimitar Tsenov Academy of Economics - Svishtov organizes its thirtieth annual student scientific conference. Students must meet the following participation criteria:

  • Current bachelor, master's or doctoral students in Bulgarian or foreign universities studying in Economics with an international orientation.
  • In case of co-authorship, at least one of the authors must meet the condition of being a current student. Co-authors can also be practicing specialists who are not in employment relations with a Bulgarian or foreign higher education institution and are members of an alumni club of a higher education institution, organizer/co-organizer of the conference.

  • International marketing.

Important deadlines*:

  • Period for sending an application for participation and а scientific paper: by April 19, 2026 (inclusive).
  • Peer review of reports: by April 26, 2026.
  • Deadline for correction and sending a corrected paper: by May 3, 2026 (inclusive).
  • Final decision of the reviewers on the corrected papers: by May 8, 2026 (inclusive).
  • Conference: May 16, 2026.
  • Publication of an electronic journal with accepted papers: June 2026.

* The Organizers reserve the right to make changes within the stated time limits. In the event that the Organizers decide to shorten / extend the deadlines, this will be announced publicly on the conference page.

Works in Bulgarian and English are allowed to participate. The materials are accepted only in electronic form through the Application Form within the deadlines specified on the conference website www.mioconference.eu.
The works submitted for publication must be original and not published before or in the process of reviewing and preparation for publication in other publishers. Authors can participate with up to two papers (authored or co-authored), clearly indicating the distribution of the author's participation.
The works approved for participation are published in the electronic journal "Global and Regional Dimensions of International Economic Relations" abbreviated as GRDIER. The journal is a scientific publication of the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics, included in the National Reference List (NRL) of contemporary Bulgarian scientific publications with scientific review. The authors do not pay fees and do not receive remuneration for sending and publishing the works.
