The Academy of Economics takes part in various international projects and programs and has established active relations with higher educational departments in Europe and all over the world. The Academy has concluded two-party frame contracts with more than 25 universities in Germany, Egypt, the USA, Greece, France, Denmark, Poland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Great Britain and Portugal. Some of these contracts give excellent opportunities for students' exchange and joint scientific and research work.

The International Relations and Projects Office is directly involved in the international co-operation activity of the Academy of Economics.

Students' House Of Culture

The Students' House of Culture is a pivotal link for all students who are interested in various arts in all their genres: music, theater, folklore, fine arts, literature. The functioning art clubs: The Folklore Dance and Songs Ensemble, the Representative Students Theater, The Experimental Theatre Group, the Sport and Latin American Dances Group, the Literature Circle, the Rock-band, and the Individual Arts Club at the Students' House of Culture all engage in intensive creative and concert activities.

Exhibitions presenting students' works - painting, art pho­tography, graphic art, etc. - are periodically organized.

Students Organizations And Unions

The Students' Union defends the academic interests of the students' communities. It unites the representatives of the students and the PhD applicants in the General Assembly of the Academy.

The Students' Union is authorized to organize the selection of its representatives in the administration of the Academy, to take part in the management of the training process and in the development of the cultural and sports activities, to encourage the establishment of specialized scientific student societies and the publishing of their works. It has the right to create and manage organizational bodies of its own, when necessary, in order to develop the internal and international relations of students and graduates, to make suggestions and participate in the running of the students' hostels and the granting of scholarships, to manage and use the infrastructure of the Academy, and to establish internal and international educational, cultural and post-graduate contacts of students and graduates.

AIESEC is a specialized international organization of the students of Economics and Management. It is a non-profit and non-political, student-governed organization, targeted at attaining professional perfection and forming socially responsible leaders, who work towards their country's social and economic development.

The local committee at Tsenov Academy of Economics was established in 1991, its main activity being international students exchange. Since its establishment, it has been working on Career Days Project and various other projects aimed at enhancing the professional realization of the graduates.

Economics And Management Department - Lovech

The Economics and Management Department, situated in the town of Lovech was established on the grounds of article 9 and article 26c from the Higher Education Act as a main unit of the Academy's structure. It continues the academic tradition and experience of the out-of-academy training, made possible by the decision of the Academic Assembly No 5/7.10.1993.

The department has a highly qualified academic staff and a modern infrastructure for training full time and extra-mural students, and state-financed training in “Accounting and Control”, “Finance”, “Social Security and Insurance”, “Marketing”. The training structure provides, research, scientific and consulting services, distance, postgraduate and additional facultative training, rendering scientific services to business organizations and public structures.

The students are granted all rights and have all duties stated in the regulations of the Academy.
