Economy of Cooperatives
In the modern market economy various economic subjects carry out economic activity. The role of cooperatives in the social and economic growth of the country is continually increasing. Such reality necessitates the training of specialists with a higher economic qualification for management of the economic processes in the cooperatives.
The training course offers theoretic knowledge and practical skills in large-scale cooperative formations consumer, commercial, agricultural and other production cooperatives. Students acquire knowledge of the organization and management of production and commercial activity in the cooperatives, of goods policy and advertising, of commercial mediation, of accounting and control over economic activity, of pricing, marketing and communications, of real estate and intellectual property transactions.
Graduates can work in the functional sectors of production, agricultural and consumer cooperatives as experts in the Central Cooperative Units, in municipalities and agricultural ministries.
The thorough functional and branch training which the students acquire also gives them the opportunity to work in other structural economic divisions.
